📜 CK Ventures Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE

Welcome to CK Ventures.

CK Ventures is an independently operated collection of websites and online stores managed by a sole trader based in Greece. These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are intended to apply across websites operating under the CK Ventures collection, unless a particular website displays additional or different terms applicable specifically to that website or service.

By accessing, browsing, registering with, purchasing from, or otherwise using any CK Ventures website, you agree to these Terms, together with any applicable Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns Policy, and other notices displayed on the relevant website.

Where mandatory consumer-protection law provides rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited, those rights remain fully applicable regardless of anything stated in these Terms.

2. OUR WEBSITES

CK Ventures operates a collection of websites covering different products, services, information, digital content, and subject areas.

Individual CK Ventures websites may have their own branding, domain names, product ranges, prices, policies, or additional conditions.

Where website-specific terms conflict with these General Terms, the website-specific terms will apply to the extent necessary, provided they comply with applicable law.

We may add, modify, suspend, transfer, or discontinue websites, products, features, or services at our discretion.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF OUR WEBSITES

You may use our websites only for lawful purposes.

You must not misuse our websites, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with their operation, introduce malicious software, scrape or extract content unlawfully, commit fraud, impersonate another person, or use our services in any manner prohibited by applicable law.

Where an account is required, you are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability, dimensions, colours, prices, and other information are accurate.

However, minor differences may occur between photographs displayed online and the product received, particularly because of screen settings, manufacturing variations, packaging changes, supplier updates, or differences between production batches.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors or omissions.

If a material error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer where reasonably possible and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.

5. DROPSHIPPING AND THIRD-PARTY FULFILMENT

Many physical products offered through CK Ventures websites may be supplied using a dropshipping or third-party fulfilment model.

This means that products may be stored, packaged, dispatched, and delivered directly by independent suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, or fulfilment partners rather than being physically handled by CK Ventures.

Products may therefore be dispatched from different countries and different warehouses.

We carefully aim to work with suitable suppliers and make every reasonable effort to provide a smooth purchasing and delivery experience. Nevertheless, third-party fulfilment may occasionally result in circumstances outside our direct control, including supplier processing delays, carrier delays, customs procedures, stock discrepancies, weather disruption, transportation problems, or other logistical issues.

Our use of third-party suppliers does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or legal obligations that apply to us as the seller.

6. ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.

An order may be refused or cancelled where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

  • Product unavailability;

  • Obvious pricing or description errors;

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment;

  • Delivery restrictions;

  • Incorrect customer information;

  • Supplier inability to fulfil the order; or

  • Other circumstances that make lawful fulfilment impossible or unreasonable.

Where payment has already been collected for an order that we cannot fulfil, the appropriate amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

7. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the relevant website.

Applicable taxes will be handled as required by law and as indicated during the purchasing process.

Payment may be processed through independent payment service providers.

CK Ventures does not intentionally store customers’ full payment-card numbers, CVV/security codes, or complete card credentials on its own website systems.

Card and payment information may instead be processed securely by the relevant payment processor, bank, payment gateway, or other authorized payment service provider, subject to that provider’s own security and privacy practices.

8. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We make every reasonable effort to provide realistic delivery estimates.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law.

Because many products are fulfilled through third-party suppliers, occasional delays may occur.

Possible causes include supplier processing, international transportation, customs procedures, postal or courier delays, public holidays, severe weather, high seasonal demand, strikes, transportation disruption, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers when significant delivery problems occur.

Nothing in this section limits statutory rights concerning delivery deadlines, non-delivery, cancellation, or refunds.

9. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES

We aim, where reasonably possible, to offer products and shipping arrangements that minimize unexpected customs procedures or additional charges for customers.

However, certain products may be dispatched from outside the customer’s customs territory, including potentially from countries such as China or the United States.

Depending on the destination country, product value, shipping arrangement, applicable VAT treatment, customs rules, and current legislation, an order may be subject to customs clearance, import VAT, duties, administrative fees, or carrier handling charges.

Such charges are determined by governmental authorities, customs agencies, postal operators, or carriers and may be outside our direct control.

Customers should therefore be aware that additional customs-related charges may occasionally arise.

We do not guarantee that such charges will always be small or absent, because their amount depends on applicable law and the circumstances of each shipment.

Where the law requires CK Ventures or its supplier to collect, declare, or account for taxes or duties in a particular manner, we will seek to comply with those requirements.

10. EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

Where applicable under European Union and Greek consumer law, consumers purchasing goods online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without having to provide a reason, subject to the conditions and exceptions established by law.

The withdrawal period generally runs from the date on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

Certain products and services may legally be excluded from the right of withdrawal, including, depending on the circumstances, customized or personalized goods, certain sealed goods opened after delivery for hygiene or health-protection reasons, perishable goods, and certain digital content or services supplied following the consumer’s express consent where the statutory conditions have been met.

Customers wishing to exercise a statutory withdrawal right should contact us at the customer-support email displayed on the relevant CK Ventures website.

We will provide the appropriate return instructions.

Nothing in these Terms restricts or removes any mandatory statutory right of withdrawal, refund, repair, replacement, or other consumer remedy.

A Request From Our Small Business

CK Ventures operates with relatively small margins and aims to keep prices fair and accessible.

We fully respect every customer’s legal right to return eligible products. At the same time, we kindly encourage customers to review product descriptions, measurements, specifications, compatibility information, photographs, and other relevant details carefully before ordering.

Where possible, we greatly appreciate customers avoiding unnecessary or speculative purchases and returns.

This request is entirely voluntary and does not affect or restrict any statutory consumer right.

11. RETURN COSTS AND REFUNDS

Where a customer exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, return shipping costs will be handled according to applicable law and the information provided before purchase.

Unless CK Ventures has agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to bear the cost, the consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind withdrawal, provided the consumer was properly informed of this obligation.

Different rules may apply where goods are defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

Refunds will be processed using an appropriate method and within the periods required by applicable law.

We may be legally permitted to withhold reimbursement until returned goods are received or the consumer provides evidence of having sent them back, subject to applicable law.

12. 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION COMMITMENT

Customer satisfaction is a central principle of CK Ventures.

We provide a 100% Customer Satisfaction Commitment, meaning that if a product arrives damaged, materially defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, we will work to provide an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement, refund, repair where appropriate, or another mutually acceptable remedy.

Where reasonably necessary, we may request photographs, packaging information, order details, or other reasonable evidence to verify the problem and arrange the appropriate solution.

This commitment operates in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, statutory consumer rights.

13. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible using the support email displayed on the relevant website.

Please provide the order details and a description of the problem. Photographs may be requested where reasonably necessary.

Where the claim is valid, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and our Customer Satisfaction Commitment.

Customers should not return products to a supplier or warehouse without first receiving return instructions, because dropshipping products may require different return destinations.

14. ACCOUNTS AND PASSWORD SECURITY

Some CK Ventures websites may allow or require users to create accounts.

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information;

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords;

  • Using strong and secure passwords;

  • Preventing unauthorized access to their accounts; and

  • Informing us promptly if they reasonably suspect unauthorized account access.

Passwords should be stored using appropriate security measures where technically applicable. We do not intentionally maintain passwords in readable plain-text form where secure password-hashing functionality is provided by our systems.

We will never legitimately ask customers to send their complete password by ordinary email.

15. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

CK Ventures respects the privacy of its visitors and customers.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.

We collect and process only information reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as:

  • Processing and fulfilling orders;

  • Providing customer support;

  • Maintaining user accounts;

  • Processing payments through authorized providers;

  • Preventing fraud and maintaining security;

  • Meeting accounting, tax, and legal obligations;

  • Improving website functionality;

  • Managing consented communications; and

  • Operating our services.

Further details should be provided in the Privacy Policy applicable to each website.

16. EMAIL ADDRESSES AND COMMUNICATIONS

We do not sell or rent customer email addresses to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

We do not intentionally share email addresses with unrelated parties for unsolicited marketing.

However, personal information, including an email address where necessary, may be processed or shared with trusted service providers where required to operate our services, such as payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, shipping companies, fulfilment partners, fraud-prevention services, or professional advisers.

Such processing will be limited to legitimate purposes and handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Marketing communications will be sent only where there is an appropriate lawful basis.

Customers may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time.

17. COOKIES

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies for essential website operation, security, shopping-cart functionality, analytics, preferences, advertising, and other lawful purposes.

Where legally required, non-essential cookies will be used only after appropriate consent has been obtained.

Visitors should refer to the relevant website’s Cookie Policy and cookie-consent controls for further information.

18. ADVERTISING

CK Ventures websites may display a limited amount of advertising or sponsored content.

Our objective is to maintain a clean, useful, and comfortable browsing experience.

Where advertising is used, we aim to position it carefully and, wherever reasonably practical, away from essential navigation, primary content, important interactive tools, checkout processes, or other areas where advertisements could unnecessarily interfere with the visitor’s experience.

We make reasonable efforts to minimize intrusive advertising and visitor annoyance.

Advertisements may be delivered by third-party advertising networks. Such providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements.

The appearance of an advertisement does not necessarily constitute CK Ventures’ endorsement of the advertised company, product, service, or claim.

19. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our websites may contain links to external websites, services, payment providers, social networks, advertisers, suppliers, or other third parties.

These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.

CK Ventures is not responsible for the content, security, availability, accuracy, or independent practices of third-party websites that we do not control, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Users should review the terms and privacy policies of third-party services before using them.

20. INFORMATIONAL CONTENT AND DISCLAIMER

Some CK Ventures websites may publish articles, guides, reviews, educational materials, calculators, assessments, recommendations, or other informational content.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such content is provided for general informational or educational purposes and should not automatically be treated as professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, engineering, or other regulated professional advice.

Users should obtain appropriate professional advice where their circumstances require it.

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information but cannot guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every individual circumstance.

21. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT

Where visitors are permitted to submit reviews, comments, photographs, or other content, they must not submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, misleading, malicious, or inappropriate material.

By submitting content, users grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to display and administer that content on our websites, subject to applicable law and privacy rights.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary.

22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, website design, branding, logos, original text, graphics, layouts, databases, and other original materials created for CK Ventures are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party trademarks, product images, supplier materials, licensed content, and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

No CK Ventures content may be copied, reproduced, commercially exploited, republished, or distributed without authorization except where permitted by law.

23. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep our websites available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Websites may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting failures, software updates, security incidents, internet outages, technical problems, cyberattacks, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue website functionality where reasonably necessary.

24. FRAUD AND ABUSE

We reserve the right to take reasonable measures to prevent fraud, payment abuse, misuse of promotional offers, false refund claims, account abuse, automated attacks, or other unlawful activity.

Orders reasonably suspected of fraud may be delayed, investigated, refused, or cancelled where legally permissible.

25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable Greek or European Union law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CK Ventures will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable and that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by:

  • Customer misuse of a product;

  • Failure to follow product instructions or warnings;

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer;

  • Unauthorized use of a customer’s account resulting from the customer’s failure to protect login credentials;

  • Independent third-party websites outside our control; or

  • Events beyond our reasonable control,

except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Any limitation in these Terms must be interpreted subject to mandatory consumer-protection law.

26. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.

Such events may include natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil disturbance, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, transportation disruption, customs delays, governmental actions, internet or telecommunications failures, major supplier disruption, or similar events.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption where possible.

27. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our websites, business practices, technology, services, or applicable law.

The latest version will be published on the relevant website with an updated revision date.

Changes will not unlawfully remove rights already acquired under an existing contract.

Customers should review these Terms periodically.

28. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent legally necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

29. NO WAIVER OF STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict, or exclude any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Greek or European Union law.

Where any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.

30. COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT

We aim to resolve customer concerns fairly and efficiently.

Customers with questions, complaints, delivery problems, damaged products, return requests, privacy concerns, or other issues should contact us by email:

Customer Support: CKARIKOGLOU@GMAIL.COM

Please include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant order or issue.

We will make reasonable efforts to respond and seek an appropriate resolution.

Consumers may also have access to competent consumer-protection authorities and legally available alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms.

31. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and the operation of CK Ventures are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to applicable European Union law.

Where the customer is a consumer residing in another country, this choice of Greek law does not deprive that consumer of mandatory protections granted by the laws that would otherwise apply to them under applicable EU conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts as determined by applicable law.

Nothing in this clause is intended to unlawfully restrict a consumer’s right to bring proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under mandatory Greek or European Union consumer law.

32. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, and any website-specific conditions expressly incorporated into the transaction, constitute the terms governing use of the relevant CK Ventures website and purchases made through it.

If a specific mandatory legal requirement applies, that requirement will prevail over any inconsistent provision in these Terms.
